4F Trip to the London Transport Museum

What a fantastic day!

We went on a visit to the London Transport Museum where we took part in a Poster Art workshop. We were taught about the history of posters on the underground and were given a mission to make our own posters in groups. Our final posters will be showcased around the school and presented at sharing assembly on 21st June so come along if you would like to see our amazing work.

We also had a great time exploring the museum, climbing on a variety of vehicles from a range of time periods. We were each given a stamper card to collect stamps around the museum. There were loads to collect such as a train, thought cloud and bus. We also enjoyed the interactive aspects of the museum, such as the train driver simulations. The museum was full of interesting artefacts, including a bomb shelter that was originally from Hainault!

After a tasty lunch, we made our way back to school, travelling through Covent Garden. It was a wondrous sight to see all the market stalls selling their colourful products and delicious smelling food.

All in all, we had a super day on our last trip of Year 4 and have great memories to last forever.
