WE had lots of fun today, we had a chance to ice our own cookies and designs using different coloured icing and sprinkles. We then had our Christmas
party...we danced, we laughed, we ate lots of party food and we watched part of a movie. It was a wonderful and enjoyable day. Here are some pics of the highlights...

Egyptian pottery
WE have been learning about the Egyptians. We have learnt so many things about them and one area was about their pottery and how the pictures painted on their pottery often told stories of their existence. We were fortunate to create our own Egyptian pottery artefacts and painted them to depict our stories. We hope you like them as much as we enjoyed making them. Here are some pictures you might like to enjoy.
Movie night at JB!
We were very successful with our movie night at JB! The children snuggled down with their blankets, teddies and pillows to watch a Christmas movie. The children were snuggled like caterpillars! They had hot chocolate, popcorn and squash. The perfect night in. Here are some pictures to share, enjoy!

Year 4 Habitat Exhibition
Today we held the Year 4 Habitat Exhibition.
Children were given homework to create their own 'Habitat in a box', based on the Land Sea and Sky topic we have been learning about in Geography, as part of the new IPC curriculum.
Children in Year 4 were fantastically confident and enthusiastic speaking about their Habitat projects to parents, pupils and members of staff.
From the Arctic circle, to the Amazon Rain-forest. From woodlands, to deserts and the depths of the oceans, we were overwhelmed with the effort and creativity children put into their projects.
Thank you to everyone who supported the children in their work, either by helping at home, or visiting our exhibition.
